Almond Berry Scones (GF)

I’ve been trying to cook and bake with some more natural ingredients.  I found this scone recipe and thought I would give it a try.

It has only a few ingredients:  Almond flour, Sea salt, Butter, Honey, Eggs, and Berries (I chose raspberries).  Easy, right?

You mix the dry ingredients together.

Whisk together the eggs, melted butter and honey.

Mix together the wet and dry ingredients.

Fold in the berries.

Then shape them into triangles onto your pan and bake them at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Yum!

Almond Berry Scones

2 1/2 cups of Almond Flour

1/2 tsp sea salt

2 eggs

4 tablespoons of honey

1/3 cup of melted butter

1/2 cup fresh or frozen berries

Directions:  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cover a baking sheet in parchment paper.  In a medium bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.  In a small bowl, whisk eggs.   Add melted butter and honey.  Combine wet and dry ingredients.  Fold in berries.  Drop 1/4 cup of dough onto the baking sheet and shape into a triangle.  Bake for 15-20 minutes.
